GLACIER G480 is a high-performance antifreeze coolant concentrate formulated with mono ethylene glycol. Free from nitrites, amines, and phosphates, it combines inorganic and organic corrosion inhibitors, categorizing it as a hybrid coolant. GLACIER G480 provides robust protection for modern passenger car and commercial vehicle engines against cavitation, freezing, rust, and overheating. Its advanced corrosion inhibitors safeguard all cooling system metals from deposits and corrosion. Complying with VW coolant specification VW TL 774-C (G11), it ensures a service life of up to 7 years or 450,000 km.
Recommended for use in North American, European, and Japanese high-output gasoline engines in passenger cars, sport utility vehicles, vans, and light-duty trucks where API SP, SN Plus, ILSAC GF-6A, API SN, API SM, API SL quality oils are specified. These engine oils are suitable for vehicles running on gasoline and ethanol-containing fuels up to E85. They are also suitable for modern turbocharged direct injection gasoline engines that require LSPI protection. However, it’s important to note that ILSAC GF-6B is not backward compatible with older engines.
