GLACIER A2 Green is an advanced antifreeze coolant formulated with Phosphate Organic Acid Technology (Phosphate OAT), classified as Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) in the US market. Designed specifically for Asian vehicles requiring “green” antifreeze/coolant, it is free from silicates, borates, nitrites, and amines, ensuring compatibility and optimal protection for these engines. To maintain performance and prevent issues like gel formation or radiator clogs, it is important not to mix GLACIER A2 Green with other coolant types, particularly silicate-based formulations.
Recommended for use in North American, European, and Japanese high-output gasoline engines in passenger cars, sport utility vehicles, vans, and light-duty trucks where API SP, SN Plus, ILSAC GF-6A, API SN, API SM, API SL quality oils are specified. These engine oils are suitable for vehicles running on gasoline and ethanol-containing fuels up to E85. They are also suitable for modern turbocharged direct injection gasoline engines that require LSPI protection. However, it’s important to note that ILSAC GF-6B is not backward compatible with older engines.
