GLACIER P-OAT is a Phosphate Organic Acid Technology (Phosphate OAT) coolant, also referred to as HOAT (Hybrid Organic Acid Technology) in the U.S. market. It is specially formulated for all Asian vehicles that require “blue” antifreeze/coolant. GLACIER P-OAT is free from silicate, borate, nitrite, and amine additives, ensuring compatibility with Asian cooling system requirements. Mixing with other coolants, especially silicate-based ones, is not recommended as it may lead to gel formation and radiator clogging.
Recommended for use in North American, European, and Japanese high-output gasoline engines in passenger cars, sport utility vehicles, vans, and light-duty trucks where API SP, SN Plus, ILSAC GF-6A, API SN, API SM, API SL quality oils are specified. These engine oils are suitable for vehicles running on gasoline and ethanol-containing fuels up to E85. They are also suitable for modern turbocharged direct injection gasoline engines that require LSPI protection. However, it’s important to note that ILSAC GF-6B is not backward compatible with older engines.
