GLACIER Dexcool 50 is a single-phase, ethylene glycol-based extended-life coolant formulated for automotive engines. It is designed to deliver superior protection and performance while meeting GM 6277M, the General Motors specification for extended-life coolant. This ensures compatibility and reliability for vehicles requiring this standard.
Recommended for use in North American, European, and Japanese high-output gasoline engines in passenger cars, sport utility vehicles, vans, and light-duty trucks where API SP, SN Plus, ILSAC GF-6A, API SN, API SM, API SL quality oils are specified. These engine oils are suitable for vehicles running on gasoline and ethanol-containing fuels up to E85. They are also suitable for modern turbocharged direct injection gasoline engines that require LSPI protection. However, it’s important to note that ILSAC GF-6B is not backward compatible with older engines.
